8 Essential Oils For Your Water

Yummy water with 8 choices of essential oil for flavor
75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated. Here are some natural, healthy, and delicious flavors for your water to help make it more palatable.

Are you drinking enough water?

Did you know that 75% of Americans are chronically dehydrated? Are you one of them? Some signs that you may need more water in your life are constipation, headache, decreased or dark colored urine, frequent illnesses, dry skin, sugar cravings, and fatigue.

One of the most important things for you to do for your body is to drink water. Some chronic problems may be caused, or made worse by, dehydration (I said “some”). And unless, of course, you have a water restriction for some reason (ie kidney/heart issues) you should really be trying to drink your water. Also keep in mind that a moderate amount of caffeine (about 300 mg) is okay and won’t dehydrate you, but drinking a large amount of caffeine will (more than 500 mg).

But how much water should you drink daily?

AT LEAST half your body weight of water in ounces per day?

For example, if you weigh 200 lbs, you should drink at least 100 ounces of water a day. That amount of water is daunting to some and many people find it difficult to drink all the water they need in one day. In turn, they resort to adding sweeteners or flavors that have unhealthy additives and no health benefits. What if there was a healthier alternative? There is!

8 Essential Oils for your water
You should drink half your body weight of water in ounces everyday.

Spike your water!

No not that kind of spike. Spike your water with some essential oils! Not only will you be providing your body with the water it needs, but you will also be providing your body with another beneficial ingredient that it desires.

**Be sure that the essential oils you use are pure essential oils. Many essential oils sold in stores have additives and are NOT safe to ingest.**

Here are 8 essential oils that are safe to add to your water. They each have their own benefits as well as tasting super yummy! Add 1-2 drops of the oil to the bottom of your glass and pour water over it. Always choose glass or metal containers instead of plastic because the oils can leach the toxins from the plastic into your water. And no one wants to drink those. Yuck!
